The Man Repeller

I’ve never dressed for any one else, other than myself, that much is true. I’ve always, always preferred trousers over skirts and I much prefer an oversized silhouette to a skin tight one. I’m coming to love tailoring, proper fitting trousers and jackets, straight legs and boxy tops. It’s so funny to think how my style has changed lately and I think I’m going to do some writing surrounding that subject.

I’m loving these Mango super high waisted black trousers I got for Christmas, they look black but I think they’re actually a really dark navy. I think I’ve perhaps made my body look a tad short by pairing the shirt with the turtle neck but it was bloody cold, guys. I also went for my stomping Chelsea boots from Arket. These took some breaking in, but they’re famously comfy now and I love them. The weather here at the minute has meant that’s I’ve been getting some crazy wear out of them but guys, I’m so, so ready for some warmer weather. Last year I missed out on all the beautiful linen outfits everyone was wearing due to linen being in capable of stretching over baby bumps, so ready for it this year.

I’m really enjoying rewearing lots of pieces this year, lot’s of transitional items making getting ready for Spring so, so fun! I am on the look out for a light weight linen blazer now though? Wouldn’t that be perfect with tailored shorts this summer? S xxx

Hi Sarah, absolutely love the look! I’m looking into buying the Weekday blazer and am wondering how you found the sizing to be? X

Hello there! So the blazer is very oversized! So I would size down and it will still have a lovely oversized feel! Six
