Hair accessorise are huge right now. Whether you’re paying homage to your 90’s roots, or cultivating a chic new collection of slides, the high street is full of ideas and inspiration!
I’ve gathered together my favourite hair pieces at home, found them online or I’ve brought you an amazing alternative as well as showing you how to wear them.
A classic Alice band has made a huge come back and this leather number from COS is one of the best. I grabbed this one in the sale, so unfortunately it isn’t available right now but scroll to the bottom and I’ve found some others that are just as lovely. I find that blow drying my hair with a round brush before wearing the achieves the best look as this gives your hair a bit more volume around the band.
Statement slides and clips are having a real moment. Whether you go for full gold or a pearly number you can guarantee they’ll be the star of any outfit. I like to keep my jewellery minimal when I wear these, so I just keep in some small earrings and a delicate necklace.
I’m toying with the style of wearing one clip either side as on some, it looks so cool. On me? I feel a but like I’m halfway through a hair cut… but it’s growing on me. Pun intended.
A plain clasp, like this one from COS makes me all nostalgic. I used to wear my hair like this a lot when I was younger and I think it’s still a really sweet and timeless way to wear your hair. This one is still available in COS now, so grab it whilst you can!
Do you wear slides or clips? Or do you think they should stay firmly in the 90s? Sx
