Spring Style Spring Style Spring Style

This weekend we took a walk through Bruntsfield in Edinburgh to meet some friends for lunch at Harajuku Kitchen.  We had some amazing Japanese food, dumplings, and sushi rolls (cooked for me obviously) and it was glorious, i love all the food.  It also was the perfect time to start working on my Spring Style, let’s face it, we’ve only just said goodbye to the winter one.

I wore my new Polka dot dress from Asos along with my new babies, my marmite Fila Distributor II’s I mean, some people must love them, they’ve been sold out everywhere for months!  The dress is amazing, it’s a maternity fit but it’s also available as a non Maternity option.  It’s actually going to be perfect during pregnancy and after.  The buttons down the front will be amazing for breast feeding and going forward into Autumn when baby is due. The trainers are mad comfy, so i’m not apologising for their slightly bulky look. I am really into the ‘Dad’ trainer look right now, and they make me feel better about wearing a dress as i’m not the most feminine and delicate woman on earth.  This applies even more so when i’m a bowling ball.

My trench coat is from & other stories, but unfortunately i can’t seem to find it online anymore but here is a similar one on ASOS. It’s got the same belted cuffs and belt, and it’s the perfect coat for heading in to Spring and Summer.  Now all i need to do is find one i like with a hood for all this rain we’ve been having.

What i’m wearing –

Coat – & Other Stories, Similar Asos

Dress – Asos

Traineres – Fila

I love a good classic trench coat.. almost makes me wish we had more cooler weather here. And bulky shoes are also the only way I can let myself get away with wearing a dress 😀
