Hello friends, I hope you all survived Monday and are raring to take charge of your Tuesday.  I had a pretty busy weekend, yet again trying to cram too much into too little time, but, isn’t that what weekends are for?  Anyway, Welcome to todays post, another shoot taken by the beautiful Ellie Morag the other weekend in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.  You may remember the Blogger Event I attended in Jenners for DC Dalgleish  that featured on the blog a couple of weeks back, where we were shown the beautiful Shepherds Plaid, hand woven by the artisan weavers working in the Selkirk Mill in the Scottish Borders.  Of course being the total scarf/plaid/tartan/weaving junkie that I am these days, I knew i had to get my hands on one and I chose this, a gorgeous blue and black plaid, or rather, Egyptian Blue And Liquorice .  I decided that such a gorgeous piece deserved some (way) better than average photos, so Ellie and I put together two looks featuring the Egyptian Blue Beauty, one for day and one for night.  This look is one that I would wear any day, for a stroll to the market, trip to the shops, out for coffee, for really any errands that need run during the day.  The rest of the outfit is made up of the following,

Self tie Shirt Dress- TopShop

Jeans- Zara

Adidas Stan Smith Trainers – Schuh

Patterson Glasses- iOLLA

We’ve put together an evening look featuring the plaid again, so stay tuned for that later in the week.  I cannot wait to really get some good wear out of this over the Autumn and Winter.  I’m completely in love with it, and with it being such a timeless piece made in such a high quality yarn, I know i’m going to be wearing it season after season.

What do you think of the way i’ve styled this day time look?  How would you style yours?
