Dress- Zara Jacket- Topshop Sunglasses- Zara- Similar Necklaces- Similar- Urban Outfitters

Thank you to the lovely people at Eilean Iarmain in Skye for posting it back to me after i left it there last week.  I was clearly far too relaxed and forgot to do my usual swoop to make sure i have everything with me and left it lying next to the bed.   I had taken these photos at the weekend along with some others, so this post is coming to you a tad late as i’ve been desperate to get them up!

I got this dress from Zara for my Birthday, yes i’ve had it over a month and i haven’t managed to show you it yet.  Thats mainly due to the weather though, and even when i took these photos i had to be wary of the wind blowing up the skirt.

I like the bohemian style this dress has, a good 60s/70s hippy vibe perfect for festivals and running through fields making daisy chains in the summer…. Ahem. Anyway i paired the dress with an equally hippy-ish jacket, when worn like this anyway.  Denim is everywhere right now, and it’s great for adding to any outfit, wether is be on your legs or on your arms.  This one is going to be awesome for spring, it’s lined with faux sheep skin so it’s a lot warmer than my other Denim jacket, it’ll be keeping me cosy when the nights are lighter but still a bit nippy!

So this weekend, i have my hen night, which means it’s only THREE more weeks until our wedding.  To say i’m excited is the understatement of the century ( i keep sneaking looks at my wedding band and trying it on) it’s also pretty nervy though, making sure everything that we’ve booked and planned comes together.  I can’t wait to share the day with our family and friends, and finally reveal our theme and of course my dress.  Not too long to go now!
