Dress- Topshop Fedora- Topshop Necklaces- Urban Outfitters Jeans- Old- Zara

Aloha, I hope you all had a great weekend?  Mine was pretty busy, but nice all the same.  I took Poppy for a hair cut on Saturday (check out Twitter for those pics-you’ll die she looks so cute) I also went for my first bloggers dinner on Saturday night, which was great.  I met some lovely girls, and hopefully i’ll see them all again this Thursday at another event we have in Edinburgh with Coast.  I’m really looking forward to that, i used to get Coast dresses for all of my School dances.

So, some of you might be aware that i was in Skye last week with work.  I drove up on Thursday for some meetings, stayed over and drove home on Friday.  If you have never been to Skye, which i hadn’t before this trip;  I urge to you go, sooner rather than later (before it’s infested with midges) It really it a lovely island, so picturesque and peaceful. The hotel i stayed in was called Eilean Iarmain in Sleat, I had the best nights sleep i’d had in weeks there, after a long hot soak in the extra long bath tub!  I took a couple of snaps when i could but i would love to go back when i have more time and really do some exploring.

On the way home on Friday after work, i stopped at some other lovely places around Loch Lomond and snapped a couple of outfit posts.  I wasn’t too sure about pairing my jeans with this dress, as i had intended to wear tights, however i think this works.  What do you think?  I’ve never been too keen on mustard either, but there was something about the high neck and lose fit of this dress along with the khaki Fedora that i really liked.  I’m heading off to Inverness tomorrow, So who knows. You might see Nessie popping up in my next post! 😉

Have a great week!
