Quinton & Chadwick are a design duo, known to their friends as Jane Chadwick and Jess Quinton. Sharing a mutual vision for their knitwear, using British manufacturers and the highest quality yarns in order to produce something very unique in style, colour and texture.
Both the girls have textile and fashion backgrounds, and that shows through their products, which now sell in Liberty London, Barneys NY and lots of places in Tokyo and Japan. I was lucky enough to be sent this gorgeous scarf in a cream and blue lambs wool and even better, it’s made in Scotland! It is literally one of the warmest scarves i have ever owned and i’ve been wearing it loads this last week or so. It’s a great length so you don’t end up doing a Lenny Kravitz, strangling yourself in too much wool. It’s thick, but not too thick and the pattern is so unique and lovely. Both sides are different so you’re able to change it up a bit it you so wish.
If you saw my last post you’ll have seen the chilly lunch Calum and i had outside, well, let me tell you, my neck was not feeling any of that cold winter air. It was snug as a bug in this beauty, Calum has already called dibs on it to wear out with his blue jacket! That’s the other great thing about it, although it’s technically for a lady, i think any guy would happily wear this, it’s very versatile.
You should definitely check the girls site out, and if you’re a knitting/wool enthusiast have a little read into their production work in Scotland and Nottingham. The girls are really going places and have been winners of some great fashion awards. Check out their other wooly goodness
here, and let me know what you think, i’ve got my eyes on one of those hats!!!
Now, i’m leaving for London in a few hours, and i’ll be posting regularly on Twitter and Instagram so stay tuned for a weekend of fun Christmassy fun!
