London Diary Part 1

So, if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, then you’ll be well aware that i’ve been in London since Friday for some blog work, a bit of a mooch about and some Christmas Shopping (gotta)

I’ve put together some photos of the last couple of days.  Where we’ve been and what we’ve been up to.  Tomorrow i’ll be heading back into London to do something rather Exciting with Upper Street, so stay tuned for that over the next couple of days too.

It was a super early start (3.30am) to catch my 6.20am flight… all to save an extra £30! Wont be doing that again in a hurry! I flew from Edinburgh straight in to Gatwick and caught the Gatwick express to Victoria.  I met my friend Helena off the tube around her house at Parsons Green.  We had a quick coffee then it was straight over to Borough Market for some exploring and to grab some lunch.

The Market is huge! and so full of great stuff to buy, drink, eat, smell, everything!  I ended up buying 20 cinnamon sticks to make decorations for our tree at home, along with some little pouches to mull wine, and some spices for cooking.

A ceiling FILLED with mistletoe, apparently to commemorate the length of time that the market has been running (1000 btw)

Free Brownie samples…had around 6!

The market was so colourful! Everything looked delicious!!

So that’s day one.  Not long after the market we had a few wines and crashed.  I was exhausted and needed to get some energy back.  Stay tuned for day 2, 3 and my exciting trip to Upper Street.
