So last week i sat and had a little shot at Polyvore– for those of you who don’t know, it’s an online service that allows you to scour the web in search of different looks in fashion, home, lifestyle and even food. You can literally find almost anything. And probably the best bit, is that you can create looks for yourself. I sat for a wee while and played about on the app on my phone, (yes it’s also available as an iphone app) and came up with a few looks that i could create from things i already own. I chose to recreate this one, really as an excuse to get my Whistles baby out, also known as the leather Jacket i begged and begged Calum for last Christmas, you can find a similar one here.
My Jeans i actually distressed myself, but TopShop do a great pair that already have slits in the knee, so you don’t need to worry about mucking it up your own ones, they have people who do that for you.
My trainers, were featured in one of my first posts, but they’ve been a go-to almost every day when i’m needing something comfy to slip on. They’re from Zara and i love the croc detailing on them, adds a little summin’ summin’ i think. I’d also love to get my hands on a pair from Senso, their Abbey III looks like it could do some SERIOUS damage!
I’m not sure just how old this t-shirt is, but it’s one of my favourites, a vintage inspired Jimmy Hendricks sleeveless top from TopShop. It’s surprisingly no longer available, (haha) but you can grab similar ones here and usually don some ouber-cool rock band on the front!
The lovely back-drop for these photos is home, in Earlston, the Scottish Borders. Beautiful scenery, specially at this time of year. Not that i’m saying i live in a forest, but this spot is a nice stop off whilst on a leisurely walk down the chain brig’ That’s chain Bridge for anyone not in touch with their inner Scotsman!
